Wendy has an extensive background as a choral conductor and musical theatre music director. She has conducted numerous choirs for the past two decades, and has musically directed Wasatch Front productions of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Irving Berlin’s White Christmas, and many others. She is also an accomplished pianist, having accompanied numerous vocal recitals and theatrical productions.
Wendy studied theatre and vocal performance at the University of Utah. She has performed theatrical roles such as Mrs. Potts in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Nellie Forbush in South Pacific, Anna Leonowens in The King and I, Millie in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, The Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods, and many others. Wendy has also had a long career as a demonstrator for Stampin’ Up!, where she recently reached a milestone of $1 million in career sales. She is a devoted mother of five and grandmother of ten and counting.
